Oil tank security against theft

Minimise the risk of theft by carrying out these security measures on your oil storage tank.

Locks and lockable valves

Fit locks or lockable valves that require combinations to access your tank. You may be legally required to attach locks depending on what type of tank you have. Our bunded tanks have lockable lids and an extra tank layer. These particular features also protect your tank against oil leaks. It is advisable to provide us with lock combinations before delivery, if you’re away from your property.

Installing CCTC cameras

Installing CCTV cameras

Although the most expensive, installing CCTV will allow you to monitor any authorised activity on your property and near your tank. CCTV cameras should be out of reach from potential intruders.

Fuel monitoring gauge

Another way to monitor your tank is by fitting a Fuel monitoring gauge so you can see how much oil is being used. We offer gauges from basic to advance; which will automatically set off an audible theft alarm if oil levels drastically drop over a short period of time.
