The Met Office have forecast the coldest winter in 35 years that is set to freeze Britain during November, December and January.
The chill is set to hit the UK due to disruptions to the polar vortex wind which will force the winds to divert south from the Artic circle and drift towards Britain. Temperatures on average are expected to just above freezing with widespread frost, hail and snow.
Experts are warning people to prepare and not get caught out by the icy conditions. We recommend that customers check oil levels regularly using a tank monitor and order heating oil in plenty of time in order to keep their homes and businesses warm during the cold snap.
