AID Wins Runner-Up in FPS Depot Of The Year Awards

AID Fuel Oils Group was delighted to be nominated for The Federation of Petroleum Suppliers (FPS) Depot Of The Year Award.

The FPS Depot of The Year award, sponsored by QBE, is renowned within the industry and is open to all depots that have passed an audit by the FPS Depot Certification Scheme within the last two years. The award celebrates all of the hard work that goes into ensuring a depot meets with the standards set out by authorities.

The depot at AID Fuel Oils was given a platinum rating as part of the certification scheme and was a runner up in The Depot Of The Year awards. The audits are broken down into 15 sections such as storage facilities, health and safety compliance, environmental management and transport. The audit also takes into account how well a depot is performing against others in the industry, how knowledgeable the staff are and how up-to-date and compliant the depot’s records are.

Collecting the award on behalf of the company Ross Whitehouse, son of Anthony Whitehouse - one of the founding directors of AID Fuel Oils said:

“We are delighted to be nominated for such a prestigious award. AID and its employees work hard to ensure our depot meets all of the required standards. We will strive to continue to meet the high standards set by the FPS audit in the future and hope to win more awards!”

AID have been supplying fuel, oils and lubricants to domestic and commercial customers for nearly 50 years. Our onsite facilities also allow customers to visit the depot and collect fuel or other products themselves.
